Xiaomi launched three new smart TVs in India today, along with the Xiaomi 12 Pro flagship smartphone and Xiaomi Pad 5 Android tablet. The Xiaomi Smart TV 5A series smart TVs have been unveiled as the successor to last year's Smart TV 4A series. According to the company, it has sold over 7 million smart TVs in India to date.

The Xiaomi Smart TV 5A 32-inch costs Rs 15,499, the 40-inch model costs Rs 22,999, and the 43-inch model costs Rs 25,999. All three smart TVs will be available for purchase beginning April 30 on Flipkart, Mi.com, and Mi stores across India. You can get an extra Rs 2,000 on your HDFC bank credit card.

Xiaomi Smart TV 5A is available in three different screen sizes: 32-inch, 40-inch, and 43-inch. The 32-inch model has an HD resolution, while the 40-inch and 43-inch Smart TVs have Full HD resolution. All three smart TVs include Xiaomi's proprietary Vivid Picture Engine image-processing technology, which improves colour and contrast for a better viewing experience. Furthermore, the audio on the 40-inch and 43-inch TVs is upgraded from a 4W speaker on the 4A series to a 24W speaker on the 40-inch and 43-inch TVs. The 32-inch model includes a 20W speaker. All smart TVs include Dolby audio, DTS-X, and DTS-X Virtual support, which is a first in the segment. Granular audio controls are also included with the TVs.
The Xiaomi Smart TV 5A series ships with Android TV 11 and Xiaomi's Patchwall UI on top. Xiaomi has collaborated with 40 content apps to provide movie and TV show recommendations. In terms of hardware, the 40-inch and 43-inch smart TVs have 1.5GB of RAM, 8GB of storage, and a quad-core A55 CPU, while the 32-inch model has 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage, and a quad-core A35 CPU. Other features of the device include Bluetooth 5.0, which improves TWS support, dual-band Wi-Fi, an ethernet port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
