Vivo Y21A with Helio P22 SoC and 5,000mAh Battery Goes on Sale in India: Price, Specifications

Vivo is on a roll with new products. In the Indian market, the business has released yet another smartphone from its Y-series. The Vivo Y21A has a big HD+ display and a dual-camera system on the back. The Vivo Y20A's successor is equipped with an entry-level MediaTek Helio CPU and a 5,000mAh battery.

The new Vivo phone has a 6.51-inch HD+ LCD display with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and an 89 percent screen-to-body ratio. The front shooter is housed within a waterdrop-shaped notch on the panel.

An octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 CPU powers the Vivo Y21A. The Helio P22 is made with TSMC's 12nm FinFET technology and includes an IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The device comes with 4GB of RAM, 1GB of expanded RAM, and 64GB of internal storage. The Y21A runs Android 11 with a layer of the company's FunTouchOS 11.1 overlay on top.

The Vivo Y-series phone has a dual-camera configuration on the back with an LED flash. The device's primary sensor is a 13MP camera with an f/2.2 aperture. A 2MP super macro camera with an f/2.4 aperture is included. Portrait, Panorama, Live Photo, and a Pro mode are among the photographic modes supported. It also has the ability to record slow-motion videos. A front-facing 8MP camera is available for selfies.

The Vivo Y21A comes with a 5,000mAh battery and supports 18W rapid charging. A Type-C charging connector, a dedicated micro-SD card slot, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a 3.5mm audio jack are all included in the phone. It has Dual-SIM, 4G, VoLTE, 2.4GHz/5GHz WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, and GPS for connectivity.

The Y21A is 164.2676.088.00mm in length, weighs 182 grams, and has a plastic back and frame. Ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, e-compass, and virtual gyroscope sensor are all included. It's available in two colours: Midnight Blue and Diamond Glow. Multi-Turbo 5.0, Ultra-Game mode, Easy Share, and iManager are among the handset's other features.

The price of the Vivo Y21A in India is yet to be determined. We might predict a price between Rs. 12,000 and Rs. 14,000 based on the pricing of other Vivo Y-series handsets.
