According to tipster Paras Guglani, the Y16 will be released in India as well as other markets.

The Vivo Y16 is a new budget smartphone that will be available in India soon. The device's live images have been leaked ahead of its release. Guglani, a tipster, revealed that the phone will have a similar design to the recently released Y35 4G. The camera module on the phone is rectangular. The dual-camera setup is housed in two large cutouts.
The Y16 4G has a flat frame with curved corners as well. It will be available in two colors: gold and black. The latter has a textured back, whereas the Gold color appears to have a glossy finish. According to the PriceBaba report, the phone will have an IP53 rating for splash and dust resistance. It will also include a 4-layer cooling system.

Other details about the phone have previously leaked. The Y16 4G will have a 13MP main camera and a 2MP macro sensor. It will have a 5MP front camera. Because it is a low-cost device, the Y16 will have a standard 60Hz refresh rate display. The phone will have a 6.51-inch IPS LCD display with a tiny waterdrop notch at the top.

The phone will be powered by a MediaTek Helio G35 SoC. It has 4GB of RAM and 64GB/ 128GB of internal storage. The Y16 will also come with a 5000 mAh battery and 10W charging. Finally, the phone will weigh 183 grams and have dimensions of 163.95 x 75.55 x 8.19mm.
