OnePlus is getting ready to release the OnePlus Nord CE 2, a mid-range smartphone. The next handset's images and specifications were revealed last month. Previous rumours said that the phone will be released in February. Max Jambor has now stated that the handset will be available worldwide on February 11th. For those who aren't aware, Max has a very good track record when it comes to OnePlus leaks.

The OnePlus Nord CE 2 has already received BIS certification, indicating that an India launch is imminent. The device is expected to cost between Rs. 24,000 and Rs. 28,000 in India.

A 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate is claimed to be included in the Nord CE 2 5G. This should be a Full HD+ resolution screen, like the others in the Nord series. A punch-hole notch will be located in the top left corner of the display panel. An optical in-display fingerprint scanner will also be included in the display.

An octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor and a Mali G68 GPU could power the Nord CE 2 5G. The Dimensity 900 CPU is manufactured on a 7nm technology and has 5G connectivity. A 4,500mAh battery with 65W Warp Charge 65 rapid charging might power the device.

The Nord CE 2 is believed to have a triple camera configuration on the back and an LED flash. The handset's primary sensor could be a 64MP OmniVision sensor. An 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro lens could be included. The handset is believed to have a 16MP selfie camera.

The Nord CE 2 is the first device in the Nord series to include a dedicated micro-SD card slot. The Alert Slider will be absent from the upcoming Nord CE 2, as it was from its predecessor.
