In China, OnePlus has unveiled a new smartphone. The company has launched the OnePlus Ace Racing Edition, which differs from the standard OnePlus Ace that was released earlier this year. The new Racing Edition smartphone is powered by the same MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max SoC as the more expensive model. The rest of the hardware, including the design, is, however, unique.

OnePlus Ace Racing Edition Price
In China, OnePlus has launched the Ace Racing Edition. The new OnePlus smartphone is expected to be launched in India soon. The Ace Racing Edition has three storage options. The base model has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage and costs CNY 1,999. (roughly Rs 23,000). There's also an 8GB + 256GB variant for CNY 2,199. (roughly Rs 25,300). The most expensive option is CNY 2,499 for 12GB + 256GB (roughly Rs 28,800).
Athletics Grey and Light Speed Blue are the two colours available for the Racing Edition.
OnePlus Ace Racing Edition Specifications
The Ace Racing Edition has a 6.59-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD with a refresh rate of 120Hz. It has a hole-punch cutout for the front camera in the top left corner. The screen also has a refresh rate of 240Hz.
A MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max SoC powers the device. The processor is accompanied by up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of internal storage. There is no support for storage expansion. The phone has a 5000 mAh battery and supports 67W Super Flash charging. It weighs approximately 205 grams and measures 8.7mm thick.
The phone has a triple-camera setup on the back. A 64MP main camera sensor is present, as well as an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro sensor. The phone has a 16MP front camera for selfies and video calls.
The Racing Edition comes pre-installed with Android 12 and a layer of ColorOS 12.1 on top. It also has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, AI face unlock, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and other features.
