Lava launched the Agni 2 5G, the successor to its Agni smartphone, in India. After being sighted in different leaks over the last few weeks, the phone is officially official. The Lava Agni 2 5G has a green curved back panel with a large circular camera module, comparable to the OPPO Find X6 Pro.

It is now India's most cheap phone with a 3D Dual Curved AMOLED display. Previously, the Realme 10 Pro Plus held this position. Another notable feature of the gadget is that it is the first phone in India to include a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset. Lava Agni 2 5G Price in India, Sale Details

The Lava Agni 2 5G is available in India in a single configuration with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage for Rs 21,999. Users can get a flat Rs 2,000 discount using all major credit and debit cards as an introductory offer. This reduces the Agni 2 5G's effective pricing down to Rs 19,999.

It will be available for purchase on Amazon on May 24 at 10 a.m. Currently, it appears that the device will only be available in green.

The Lava Agni 2 5G has a glass-back design. It has a 6.78-inch 3D Dual curved AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution. The panel will feature a 120Hz refresh rate, 1.07 billion color depth, HDR, HDR 10 and HDR 10+, and Widevine L1.

The Agni 2 5G is India's first device to use the latest MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset. According to reports, the chipset is a rebranded version of the Mediatek Dimensity 1080. The SoC is combined with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. There is also support for 8GB virtual RAM.

The Android 13 operating system is launched. Lava says that there is no bloatware or advertising on the device. Two years of Android upgrades and three years of security patches are promised by the firm.

For connectivity it supports all 13 5G bands: n1/n3/n5/n7/n8/n20/n28/n38/n40/n41/n66/n77/n78.

The Agni 2 is powered by a 4700mAh battery that supports 66W rapid charging and claims to charge 50% in less than 16 minutes.

It has a 50MP quad-camera system on the rear. Lava has not published all of the sensor specifications, but the rumour mill has it that it sports an 8MP ultra-wide camera on the front and two 2MP sensors on the back.


It supports face unlock and in-display fingerprints for biometrics.

Users of the Lava Agni 2 5G will receive free service or replacement at home during the warranty term. The item comes with a one-year warranty from the manufacturer.
