In January 2022, several great games will be added to Game Pass, including The Anacrusis, Pupperazzi, and Windjammers 2. The rest of the year looks promising for Game Pass, as major Xbox first-party titles like Starfield will be available on Day One.
The year 2022 is shaping up to be a big one for Microsoft and Xbox, and it appears that the success of Game Pass has prompted Sony and PlayStation to launch a rival service. According to reports, Sony is working on a service similar to Game Pass that will be released in the spring of 2022.
The new service's details are still scarce, but it doesn't seem unlikely that Sony will attempt to compete with Xbox in this regard. It'll be interesting to see how Sony decides to price the service, as one of the Game Pass's most appealing features is its incredibly low cost.
