Nobody knows when it cuts to black, which is what makes it so great. The only tragedy is that that ending will never be repeated."

When I had finished reading, I just wrote to the authors to say, "I don't think you could have done a better job at completing this story." Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, the series' star, remarked in a prior interview. "It was all I had hoped for and more, which was very surprising and satisfying to me. Even so, it made logic. It wasn't one of those movies where the killer is unexpectedly exposed in the final act and you immediately think, "Oh, I didn't see that coming." They did a really, really outstanding job in this case."
