The first Redmi K50 series handset will be launching in China on February 16th. Xiaomi has begun releasing teasers for the upcoming Redmi K50 gaming version ahead of its launch.

The Redmi K50 Gaming Edition will be available in a Mercedes AMG Petronas Edition, according to a teaser. In addition, the company has verified some major features of the gaming-focused handset. Redmi K50 Gaming Design

The design language of the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition will be identical to that of its predecessor. The pulsating LED light surrounding the camera module has been retained by Redmi. The device will be available in two colours: Blue Ice and Mercedes AMG Petronas Edition.

The selfie camera will be housed within the centered punch hole notch on the device's display surface. The device's sim card tray and volume rockers will be on the left edge. The power button and gaming triggers, on the other hand, will be located along the right edge. The device's power button might double as a fingerprint scanner.

The speaker, microphone, and Type-C charging port will all be located on the device's bottom. It will be equipped with JBL tuned speakers.

Redmi K50 Gaming Specifications

Redmi has revealed that the upcoming Redmi K50 Gaming Edition would be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor manufactured on Samsung's 4nm technology, via official teasers. This time around, the Gaming Edition phone will be powered by a Snapdragon CPU. The handset's predecessor, the Redmi K40 Gaming, was also equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 processor.

The gadget will also have LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage, which is an advance over its predecessor. A 4860mm2 twin vapour chamber for heat dissipation will be included in the Redmi K50 Gaming. VRS, or variable resolution rendering technology, will be supported as well.

Since then, the Redmi k40 Gaming has been rebranded as the POCO F3 GT in India. As a result, there's a fair probability that the next Redmi gaming-focused handset would be marketed in India as the POCO F4 GT. The IMEI number for the POCO F4 GT has already been found.
